Inaugural Post

          CONUNDRUM  noun

          -  a confusing and difficult problem or question
          -  a question asked for amusement, typically one with a pun in its answer, a riddle

Example:  What is black and white and read all over?  - a newspaper

The Construction Conundrum is a new blog created by Tim Nielsen of TCC Corporation in Windsor, Colorado.  TCC Corporation is a Colorado company comprised of two divisions.  One division is a commercial construction general contractor.  The other division is a dairy services provider offering parts, chemicals, and maintenance to dairies in Colorado.  This blog will begin focusing on the construction side of the business.

The blog's name comes from the acronym TCC, (T-The C-Construction C-Conundrum).  Commercial construction can be confusing at times with complex problems needing to be solved on a daily basis.  There are many factors that contribute to this, but the one we will be highlighting is the human condition.  Construction work is done by people.  Getting people to work as a team towards a common goal is what construction is all about.  Commercial construction is more than just building structures, it is about building relationships.

This blog was created to try and do three (3) things:

1.  Reinforce and grow existing relationships by sharing construction project success stories
2.  Attract and generate new relationships by spreading the word of these success stories
3.  Add a little bit of fun and humor to the serious business of construction

A picture is worth a thousand words.  I will try and illustrate stories with photographs where appropriate.  I will also share dynamic images in both the built and non-built environment for the reader's enjoyment.  Until next time,

Enjoy the day,
